On an August afternoon, OPP were dispatched to a road rage incident in the Township of Killaloe-Hagarty-Richards, involving an altercation involving a male who had been aggressively tailgating a female. The caller had observed the male slamming on the hood of the female’s vehicle, then attempting to cut her off on several occasions. Officers located the male driver, identified as Kenny, who indicated that he had a verbal altercation with his ex partner. The female was located a short time later and was not forthcoming. Kenny was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and released on a promise to appear.
Result: Kemraj pleaded guilty to dangerous driving in Pembroke, Ontario. His main concern was avoiding a criminal record, which he needed to keep his job. He managed to accomplish this with our help. He received a conditional discharge and 2 year’s probation. His only restriction with regard to driving was for one year, he could only drive for work purposes.
