Stephen and his brother, Eric, worked together. One day, there was a workplace altercation between the two, which resulted in Stephen being charged after Eric complained to the police that Stephen had swung his fist at him and glanced his chin. Police interviewed Eric and others who worked at the same location.
Outcome: After a discussion with the Crown, the defence was able to persuade them to accept a resolution for a peace bond and withdrawal of the criminal charges.
