Dominique is an articling student with Armoured Suits: Criminal Defence Lawyers. She completed the combined Juris Doctor with Specialization in Political Science program in French at the University of Ottawa in 2021.
As her interest in criminal defence stemmed from her passion for social justice work and wrongful convictions, Dominique chose to focus her efforts on criminal law while attending law school.
Dominique then proceeded to work at the Department of Justice’s Cabinet and Parliamentary Affairs Unit and at the House of Commons by assisting in legislation review related to the criminal justice system. Dominique also interned for Legal Aid Ontario’s criminal law division prior to joining the team.
She spends her free time watching documentaries, listening to podcasts, doing yoga or dining with friends.
