Jenna had been in a long term relationship with the complainant, Eric. On the evening of August 2nd, Eric and Jenna got into an argument regarding her alcohol consumption. After advising Jenna that he wanted to end the relationship, Eric proceeded to bed in the hopes she would calm down. Jenna instead followed, yelling, and pushing Eric while he was on the bed. Eventually Eric was able to remove her from the room and lock the door. During the next 10 minutes, as Eric’s youngest adult son called police, Kelley used a hammer to bang on the door. When police arrived, they found Jenna with obvious signs of intoxication.
Results: The criminal charges were withdrawn upon Jenna entering into a peace bond (restraining order). She avoided a criminal record and did not have to plead guilty.
